Asus Geforce 9400 Gt Driver For Mac
Nvidia Geforce 9400 Gt Driver
I currently have a Dell Dimension e310 desktop computer with an Intel Pentium 4 processor, 1 gb of RAM and2.8 GHz of CPU. Until I purchased a new video card, I had an Nvidia GeForce 5500, it ran fine. I bought a new card from newegg, which was an EVGA Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT.
To install it, i uninstalled the old driver, then booted up without a gfx card, and attempted to install the driver for the 9400 GT. When the driver started to install, it would stop, saying that it could not find the proper hard ware. I assumed that it meant it couldn't find the gfx card. So i decided to boot up with the new gfx card in and install the driver then. Whenever I boot up with the new gfx card, I get to the loading screen for windows and it freezes, I also noticed on start up i get the error '04/00/0: Error allocting PMem BAR for PCI device.' Also, I purposely bought a card specific to a PCI slot because i don't have a PCI-express.
Can anyone please let me know if im doing something foolish, or if there is something I can do to get this thing to work. The way i found to get this card to work is to boot into C-MOS and change the video card settings to pci-exp x16 and itll boot right up, just installed today and i know this is a long time after you were looking for you answer so may be you have already figured this out.
