Garth went to great lengths to make it easy for us - when the fishing spot he had chosen did not produce good results he went out of his way to find spots so that everyone onboard got a catch. When we got back to Denham he even filleted our fish for us.

If you are looking for a luxury fishing experience this is not for you - but if you want a fun few hours with a top fisherman that is passionate about his craft- then I think that you would have a good time. I've been on a lot of charters in the North of WA but none quite like this. The boat was not even 10m with the owner as the skipper and no deck hand.

The men's toilet is over the side and the womens is underneath on a tiny Portaloo, that you could not even balance on. Paying top dollar for this experience was not worth it. 8 am start and 5pm finish because it takes 3 hrs to get to were the skipper wants to go, then, not in by 5pm, and no notice to our partners waiting, they returned at 6.30pm, took them 4 hours to get in. So in reality you fish for only a couple of hours. It was a horror ride in, all of us hanging on for life as it was so windy and the waves were bigger than the boat, it was the worst so called charter I have ever known.

The boat is far too small to be called a charter boat taking 7 fishing paying guests with no were you can even sit and eat, or have a break, oh and don't ask the owner/skipper for help because he can't drive and help you at the same time! I did phone to give feadback to the owner/skipper but his words were if your not experienced on a boat you shouldn't be out there!

And well you got fish so what's your problem. He did not listen to the safety concerns or hygiene concerns at all. Just laughed it off saying I don't know what I'm talking about.

Which I may not but safety should be the number one concern for people, not the amount of fish u got. 2-3 fish each, is also very low amount compared to all the other charters I have done. If you do go out, hold on tight. Long term customer of Amanda / Garth / Mac Attack, but never thought to leave a review. Garth works INCREDIBLY hard to ensure you have a good time, which makes Mac Attack amazing value when you consider how much effort they put into this. Recently went out on two half day charters over Easter.

One morning 1/2 day, and one afternoon 1/2 day. Both lovely days enjoying the seabreeze, local waters and company of other friendly passengers.

Being able to catch some fish is seriously the icing on the cake (and trust me there will be fish if you know how to handle a simple rod and reel). Do yourselves a favour and put this on your itinerary.
