That's when they start talking about turning their life around for the better. That's when they feel 'clear' in the head and understand what they have to do. She had a 'clear' head after and decided that you're the best option and only wants you. Sooner or later though, she's gonna need another fix. Is that what you want to live with?

This is so real. I have this with someone that is just a toxic friend. Not even a romantic relationship or SO. I knew it was bad.

I ended it.mostly. My head has been clear for months and my life is so much better without him in it. But I'm craving a fix these days. I just want a taste of the fun times, to remember the good feelings. When things were good, they were really good. We loved each other like family.

I miss him really bad. Even though he treated me like shit over and over again.

We were dangerously codependent and I let so many other parts of my life go to hell trying to maintain that relationship. I already went through the withdrawals.

I broke the habit. I filled the gaps. Why in the world would I want to start over and do that all again. That's the only thing keeping me from 'relapsing'. Well, and the list of all the horrible, manipulative, lies and betrayals that I physically made to refer back to because I knew this would happen at some point. I tell myself we can just meet up for lunch, catch up a bit and be on our way.

But we already have a history. We are already drawn to each other emotionally. All the stuff that brought us and kept us together is still there.
